Hello Switzerland website

  • Your business will be present on our website, but it will not have maximum visibility.
  • You will not be able to change any detail of the entry. In case your address changes or your logo is different, you will have to get in touch with us and request that your entry be deleted so you can re-post it yourself with the correct details.

  • Your event will be present on our website, but it will not have maximum visibility.
  • You are entirely responsible for the accuracy of the data (ticket fees, event dates).
  • Your event will have top visibility in our online event calendar. You can add up to 10 pictures. We will take care of the upload and also edit for you (only for the Premium package).

Our promotion channels

  • Our newsletter is distributed to 17,000 top level international residents in Switzerland, most with high education and high income. Our opening rates are 27%, which is a very good industry average. This means your article, or your event will be visible to at least 4,000 persons throughout Switzerland.
  • In an exclusive newsletter, we will feature only your business or event, while in a regular newsletter several articles are usually featured. This will increase visibility compared to a regular newsletter.
  • We create the appropriate audience for your advert and promote it.

Terms & techniques

  • This includes text, photos and also your company logo. You will receive detailed instructions from us (length of text, photo resolution, logo format, etc.) once you book one of our packages.
  • Leads are persons who are interested enough to request information from the Hello Switzerland Helpline. Once we receive these requests, they will be sent over to you, the Client.
  • Our Search Engine Optimization expert will make sure your business receives organic traffic from search engines. This can include a quick adjustment of the most important parts of the content, such as the title of the article, or more thorough keyword research and optimizing of the content.

Formalities

  • For online content: The minimum preparation time we require is 4 weeks. This means that once you submit the required content, your event or promotion will be live after 4 weeks' time. For newsletter appearance: Once we receive your booking, we will schedule the next available newsletter slot for you. Generally, you can expect this to be within 1 – 3 months after submitting the required content.
  • For magazine advertising: our magazine comes out in 4 seasonal issues per year. Below are the rough appearance and submission time frames for each of our 4 issues. Please get in touch with us for the exact dates, as these may vary:
    • Issue 1: appearance – early March, submission deadline – early January
    • Issue 2: appearance – early May, submission deadline – late February
    • Issue 3: appearance – early September, submission deadline – early June
    • Issue 4: appearance – late October, submission deadline – mid August
  • For magazine advertising where submission deadlines are extremely strict and late submission does not give you the right for a refund.
  • For booking other services, the content will be live 4 weeks after the submission date.
  • We require full settlement of the amount featured in the service quote. The invoice should be paid within 30 working days.
  • There are several payment options available: You can pay by PayPal if you have a PayPal account, by bank transfer or by credit card.
  • Please note, as described in Our General terms & Conditions, that where applicable, Swiss VAT is due on top of the package prices.
