Sara Vicente- Traverso Aliza Vicente- Baroque violin Alex Jellici- viola da gamba Julio Caballero- Harpsichord The ensemble Chiave d'Arco developed from years of friendship and musical affinity between the members. They performed together in the European Union Baroque Orchestra (EUBO) and got to know each other during their studies at Swiss music academies such as the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, the Zurich University of the Arts, the Bern University of the Arts and the Lucerne University of Music. Their experience in different forms of musical expression, combined in the interaction in the most diverse formations, promises exciting concert programmes and fresh, gripping interpretations time and again. It is close to the ensemble's heart to examine masterpieces of the so-called "early music" anew and to present them to a broad audience together with less well-known compositions. In his quartet formation, Chiave d'Arco performs with Sara Vicente on the transverse flute, Aliza Vicente on the baroque violin, Alex Jellici on the viola da gamba and Julio Caballero on the harpsichord. Programm: Masterpieces by Rebel, Forqueray, Rameau, Hotteterre and Telemann
