Vantage at TEDxBasel Live conversations that drive action

TEDxBasel 2016 is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At TEDxBasel, live speakers and TED Talks videos combined to spark deep discussion and connection.

TEDxBasel seeks to extend the TED experience at a regional level, highlighting exceptional ideas, inspiring people and creative works within our community.

"TEDxBasel 2016 was a great success and we are really proud of the outcome. This was thanks to amazing people who offered their help, time and expertise throughout the year", says Jennifer Chough and Hayes Ford, Organizers of the TEDxBasel.

Vantage Global Event Production GmbH supported the voluntary enterprise with the Production Design, Show Calling and a High Quality Live Streaming Service to spread the word not only in the theatre but to a worldwide audience. On top of that the creative department delivered a smart and playful 2D animation which displayed answers of the delegates to the question about their favourite things to do in Basel.

Ideas worth spreading

"I personally got inspired many times from various TED and TEDx talks in the past. When we have been approached to support TEDxZurichWoman last year, it was clear that we wanted to support the idea our creative and technical production know how. Because that is what we love to do. Word did spread and we had the opportunity to support TEDxBasel this year as well. It is a fantastic experience to see what people can bring voluntarily together, with passion and the spirit for the TED idea", states Jürgen Künkel, Managing Partner of Vantage Global Event Production GmbH.

Passion makes the difference

Vantage has a passion for precious moments. Just one month before TEDx Basel, the Swiss Live Communication Award "XAVER" took place in Zurich, April 26, 2016. Vantage produced all nominee videos and a moving portrait of Freddy Burger for the "XAVER OF THE YEAR". Freddy Burger stated in that film that nothing is impossible as long the passion is on.

The next TEDxBasel will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017.
